Loic De Buck

From an early age, Loic De Buck was fascinated by technology and decided that he wanted to become an “inventor”. After finishing his studies in industrial design he moved to Beijing, to be near the action of the factories that make all our stuff. He started Industruino, a brand of Arduino-derived automation controllers, in 2013, after his own frustrations trying to build permanent systems on Arduino barebones boards. In 2014 he moved to Shenzhen to be in the epicentre of the world’s electronics supply chain, where he opened an office in the Huaqiangbei market neighbourhood. After getting experience in the electronics design and manufacturing scene and living his boyhood dream of “inventing things” he has very recently moved back to Belgium to focus operations there.

Loic will host a workshop on Industruino Friday 13 December 11-13h
